Hi, I’m Nekoda Derouen—a worship pastor, creative thinker, husband to an amazing wife, and dad to three wild kids who think I’m cooler than I actually am. I live in the swamps of southwest Louisiana but daydream about mountain air, pine trees, and cooking over a campfire like some kind of Christian Aragorn.

I started this blog because I’m convinced that following Jesus was never meant to be boring, predictable, or politely controlled by a Sunday schedule. The Holy Spirit is alive—and He doesn’t fit into our ProPresenter slides.
